Old and New Brusno is located on the east of Poland.

The so-called Molotov Line was a system of border fortification built by the Soviet Union in the years 1940–1941 along its new western borders.
Brusno was the biggest centre of extraction and processing of stone. Brusno is located on the one of the highest ridge of the Middle Roztocze. The village spread among forests, at the bottom of the Mountain which is the source of the stone.
